Refund policy
At Baunelin, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with every purchase. If you’re not completely happy, we offer a clear and straightforward return and refund process that complies with Danish and EU consumer protection laws. This policy outlines your rights and the terms that apply when returning products.
✅ Return Conditions
• Return Period:
You have the right to return an item within 14 days from the date you received your order, as per the EU Consumer Rights Directive. If more than 14 days have passed, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund unless your product is defective.
• Eligibility for Returns:
To qualify for a return:
• The product must be unused, in its original condition, with all tags, packaging, and accessories intact.
• Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) must be included.
• Products that are custom-made, personalized, or for hygiene reasons (if sealed packaging has been opened) are non-returnable, unless faulty.
• Non-Eligible Returns:
• Sale items are non-refundable unless defective.
• Gift cards cannot be returned or refunded.
• Worn or damaged products due to customer mishandling are not eligible for return.
📦 How to Return an Item
1. Contact Customer Service:
Email us at the "Contact" tab to initiate your return. Include your order number and a brief reason for the return.
2. Prepare Your Return:
Place the item securely in its original packaging, including all receipts or proof of purchase.
3. Shipping Label:
Once your return is approved, we’ll send you a return shipping label with instructions.
💰 Return Shipping Costs
• Change of Mind:
If you’re returning an item without any fault with the product (e.g., wrong size, changed your mind), a return shipping fee of 39 DKK will be deducted from your refund when using our return label.
• Defective Items:
If the product is defective or incorrect, we will cover all return shipping costs.
🔄 Refund Conditions
• Processing Refunds:
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll notify you via email.
• If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
• For delayed refunds, first check with your bank. If issues persist, contact us.
• Partial Refunds:
In certain cases, partial refunds may apply if items are returned with visible damage or missing parts (not due to our error).
⚠️ Defective or Incorrect Items
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item:
• Contact us immediately at the "Contact" tab with photos of the issue.
• We will either replace the item or issue a full refund, covering all shipping costs.
